Description
As a Junior Systems Administrator youll manage user accounts maintain the security posture of 3 environments and monitor the performance and health of the systems and data-processing applications. Youll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management.
A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Description

- Conduct/gather compile cleanse validate and analyze data sets to support modeling and structural analysis activities
- Conduct research of systems data flows techniques technologies and tools relevant to modeling and analysis activities
- Prepare documentation to include technical reports and slides detailing assumptions technical approaches and findings
- Assist in defining data requirements
- Assist in the design conductsand evaluation of models and relationships of results to operational benchmarks

Experience
Required skills:
- 3 years of experiencewith system administrationforU.S. Government customers
- Experiencewith maintainingand administeringvirtual machinesincludingWindows and Linux
- Experienceadministering servers in AWS environments
- Experiencewith maintaining system compliance and accreditation
- Experiencewith setting up and configuring system monitoring tools such as Nagios Splunk or Elastic
- Experiencewith troubleshooting technical issues in custom software
- Experiencecoordinating larger-scale systems administration efforts across multiple technical teams ororganizations
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a IAT Level II certification within 180 days of start date
- Experiencewith system state management toolssuch asAnsible for Linux and DesiredState Configuration (DSC)for Windows
- Experiencewith source control toolssuch asGit
- Experiencewith programming languages such as Python
- Experiencewith system scripting languagessuch asBash and PowerShell
- Experiencewith writing technical documentation
- Experiencewith maintaining Elasticsearch or Elastic-stack products
- Experienceidentifying and resolvingsecurityadvisories and applying vendor patches
- Ability tomaintain software development infrastructure supporting three environments including developing testing and producing in a fast-paced highly technical environment
- IAT Level II certification preferred
