The opportunity:

Hitachi Energy is a leading supplier of power semiconductors offering a full range of Bipolar andBiMOS power semiconductors for applications such as industrial power generation & distributiontransportation e-mobility and renewable energy. Research team continues to push the boundaries ofwhat is possible using silicon (Si) and silicon carbide (SIC) technology to innovate the nextgeneration of power electronics devices In our product evaluation and qualification team (PEQ) atHitachi Energy Semiconductors we make sure to get to the bottom of things and deliver faultlessrobust semiconductor chips and power modules through a rigorous qualification process.

How youll make an impact:

• You will be involved in development projects for next-generation semiconductor chips and power modules & collaborate closely with design process and product engineering teams to evaluate new product performance.

• You will be responsible for electrical and reliability testing ensuring high-quality qualification results & develop and manage external testing suppliers (especially in Asia) for outsourced qualification testing.

• You will monitor and work closely with test suppliers to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.

• You will create detailed test plans and specifications based on risk assessments customer requirements and industry standards.

• You will analyse test results and communicate key findings to project stakeholders. You will write and review test reports develop accurate and comprehensive product data sheets.

• You will author scientific papers and present products at industry fairs and conferences.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background:

• You hold a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics Electronics Electronics & Instrumentation) with minimum 5 years ofexperience /Master of Engineering(Power Electronics and / or Semi Conductor Devices) with minimum 3 years of experience in Knowledge of powersystem/power electronics/ semi-conductors.

• You should have knowledge in Python Labview Matlab CAD software Statistical analysis tools Reliability testing& Microsoft office.

• Good leadership qualities team work analytical skills and assertiveness.

• Willingness to travel occasionally (20%) primarily within Europe and Asia.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
