Brownfield Redevelopment Project Manager


About the Job


We are looking for an experienced Brownfield Redevelopment Project Manager to lead complex environmental site assessments remediation efforts and redevelopment initiatives.


This is a hybrid role based in Auburn Hills MI offering the chance to make a lasting impact by transforming underutilized properties into vibrant community spaces while ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.

What youll be doing:


  • Manage all phases of Brownfield redevelopment projects site assessment remediation design and construction.


  • Advise clients and municipalities on redevelopment incentives and funding opportunities.


  • Ensure compliance with EPA CERCLA and state Brownfield programs.


  • Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers scientists planners and contractors.


  • Develop budgets track costs and deliver projects on-time and on-budget.


  • Identify risks implement mitigation strategies and resolve project challenges.


  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while seeking opportunities for growth.


  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development efforts.


What Youll Need:


  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Environmental Engineering or related field.


  • 5 years of project management experience.


  • 510 years of Brownfield redevelopment experience including Phase I & II site assessments and remediation.


  • Strong knowledge of federal state and local environmental regulations.


  • Proven success in managing staff leading projects and maintaining client relationships.


  • Excellent communication problem-solving and financial management skills.
