Your opportunity
The Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant will manage revenue related general ledger revenue recognitionclose processes financial reporting duties system implementations and revenue operations. A qualifiedcandidate will be detail oriented deadline driven have a strong understanding of US GAAP and be adaptable to afast-paced environment and be able to thrive in a collaborative position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Revenue to work remotely is available.
What youll do
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations ensuring accuracy in reporting and data verification.
- Review revenue contracts for compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Manage revenue and third-party expense schedules while supporting timely financial close processes including
journal entries account reconciliations and accruals. - Assist with financial and SOX audits ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Participate in process improvement projects and contribute to the implementation of the Revenue Engine
system. - Collaborate with management on special projects ad-hoc requests and other assigned tasks
This role requires
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage
sensitive information. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures with a focus on ASC 606.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multitask and streamline workflows
Bonus points if you have
- CPA license.
- Experience in a publicly-traded high-tech or high-growth company.
- Big 4 accounting firm experience.
- SaaS industry experience.
- Managed by: TA Operations Last updated: 2023.09.15
- Familiarity with systems like NetSuite Salesforce and Zuora

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicants skills qualifications and experience.
