Job Description
Title: Senior Quality Engineer
Location: Alpharetta GA & Parsippany NJ (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Description:
- Design develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Write execute and debug robust test scripts for functional regression smoke and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers product owners and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform integration testing across multiple applications and services.
- Implement continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines to integrate automated tests within build processes.
- Identify document and track defects using tools like JIRA Azure DevOps or similar.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform testing for responsive web applications.
- Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and enforce best practices in QA automation.
- Work with APIs and microservices testing using REST Assured or Playwrights API testing features.
- Contribute to test data management and maintain high coverage of automated regression tests.
