The Opportunity

HVDC is looking for a motivated Health Safety and Environmental Specialist to join our international team and contribute to a safer more sustainable future. You will be part of the HSE Service team supporting and driving improvements across a global organization.

As an HSE Specialist your main responsibility is to promote and lead Health Safety and Environmental initiatives with a strong focus on supporting HVDC Service Organization.

How Youll Make an Impact

  • Drive and promote a strong HSE culture

  • Train coach and support managers and employees on HSE actions and compliance

  • Take on an expert role in HSE related IT systems and tools support users both remotely and during site visits

  • Support development improvement and implementation of internal HSE related documentation

  • Analyze HSE performance gather data and identify trends risks and improvement opportunities

  • Drive HSE initiatives and follow up on HSE targets

  • Deliver actionable insights and best practices in a dynamic global environment

  • Assist with internal and external audits including ISO 14001:2015 ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 50001:2018

  • Lead or support incident investigations and lessons learned

  • Support compliance with local and international HSE requirements and standards

Your Background

  • University degree (Bachelor or Master) in HSE Environmental Science or related field

  • 5 years experience in health safety and/or environmental roles

  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels

  • Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 ISO 45001 ISO 50001

  • Knowledge of Swedish legislation within the HSE area
