Within ASML the Development & Engineering cluster is responsible for the specification and the design of ASML this cluster the department Software Quality & Integration (SQI) maintains the test infrastructure used by software projects specifies executes and controls the testing and integration of the various software deliveries into different software releases. Test Infrastructure is a group within SQI department that builds maintains and improves the test infrastructure (both hardware and automation software) for managing automated test execution supporting CICD WoW and overall continuous reliable integration and deployment of the different software software delivery process is a mission critical component of our business. Software testing therefore is a very important but also expensive part of it. The prospect of bringing data-driven insights to improve our testing strategies has great potential to increase quality of our deliveries and reduce costs.

Your Assignment

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled student intern to join our team for an interesting internship assignment. The intern will focus on improving and industrializing machine learning models to provide real-time data-driven and custom-tailored test advice for individual software changes and deliveries. This project aims to enhance our software testing processes by finding and offering optimal test coverage.

Your profile

To be a match for this internship you:

• Are a bachelor student or a master student in Computer Science Data Science Software Engineering or a related field looking for an apprenticeship or a graduation internship.

• Have strong skills in machine learning model deployment and operationalization (MLOps experience is a plus). Have proficiency in Python and familiarity with model serving frameworks (e.g. FastAPI Flask TensorFlow Serving) and have database experience (SQL).

• Good understanding of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Azure or GCP) is an advantage and experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git GitLab CI).

• Are enthusiastic flexible yet detail-oriented and have a strong analytical and problem-solving oriented mindset with a can-do mentality and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Have effective communication skills and are fluent in English both verbally and in writing.

This is a bachelor or master apprentice or graduation internship for a minimum duration of 6 months for 4 to 5 days per week (at least 3 days onsite for full-time). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institutefor the entire duration of the internship;

• You are located in the Netherlands to perform your case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;

• If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e. Nuffic agreement).
