The Logistics Team Lead (SRS) will oversee daily warehouse operations ensuring efficient inventory management order fulfillment and team productivity. This role requires strong leadership organizational skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Activities
- Leading and supervising the logistics team to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitoring stock levels delivery schedules and transportation costs.
- Addressing customer inquiries and develop efficiency and process improvements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members
- Aptitude for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Capability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve efficiency.
- Proficiency in managing stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with logistics software and systems like SAP Oracle and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Able to work overnight 3rd shift if needed.
- Forklift certified or the ability to get certified in house
- Picking materials executing warehouse transactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- 2 years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
- Experience in rail/rolling stock maintenance is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Forklift certification (if applicable).
Pay: $30-36/hr
