Schedule: PRN

Location: Camp Cheerful

At Achievement Centers for Children (ACC) we empower children and adults with disabilities to reach their greatest potential. Our Therapeutic Riding program provides life-changing experiences through equine-assisted activities and were seeking a Therapeutic Riding Instructor to join our Recreation Programs team.

What Youll Do:

Teach safe goal-oriented equine-based lessons that support participant growth and independence
Develop individualized student goals and track progress
Manage lesson preparation tack selection mounting/dismounting and safety protocols
Supervise and mentor volunteers assisting in lessons
Collaborate with families staff and community partners to ensure a positive experience
Maintain orderly barn areas and safe well-kept equipment

What Were Looking For:

PATH Intl. Registered Instructor certification (required)
Proven horsemanship skills
CPR and First Aid certification
Strong organizational communication and public relations skills
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and outdoors in all weather

Preferred:

Experience working with individuals in therapeutic riding programs
Bachelors degree in a related field
Prior supervisory or management experience
