Were seeking a strategic finance professional to drive financial innovation in the world of original series production. Your analytical expertise will directly influence the creative decisions that bring ground-breaking entertainment to millions of global viewers.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial dashboards and key performance indicators to analyze current and future programming strategies
- Create dynamic financial scenario analyses that empower creative decision-making
- Deliver precise financial forecasts for series development and talent exclusivity deals
- Design process improvements and automation solutions to enhance studio financial operations
- Collaborate closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

About the team
Our Original Series Finance team is a dynamic group of financial strategists passionate about storytelling through numbers. We support Amazon Studios mission to create compelling exclusive content that captivates global audiences. Your work will directly contribute to bringing innovative series from concept to screen.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- 5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
