Job Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Contract Role)
Location: Oswego NY 13126
Shift: Tuesday - Friday 10-hour day shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $3040 - $3280; (Negotiable based on experience)
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment (e.g. gamma cameras PET scanners)
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under physician direction
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Accurately document patient information and scan results
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as needed
- Follow all radiation safety procedures and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Minimum of one (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Active New York State (NYS) license/registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- ARRT (N) or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine (Required)
- Current CPR certification
