Job Summary

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Contract Role)

Location: Oswego NY 13126

Shift: Tuesday - Friday 10-hour day shift

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $3040 - $3280; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment (e.g. gamma cameras PET scanners)
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under physician direction
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Accurately document patient information and scan results
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as needed
Follow all radiation safety procedures and hospital protocols
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Active New York State (NYS) license/registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology
ARRT (N) or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine (Required)
Current CPR certification
