Radiologic Technologist (Permanent Role) - Location: Fort Worth TX 76104

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist under the general supervision of a Radiologist performs diagnostic radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider. This role is responsible for producing high-quality imaging studies in accordance with established protocols to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Ensure proper patient identification safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
- Evaluate images for quality and completeness prior to submission for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records documentation and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during imaging procedures when necessary.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance continuing education and departmental meetings as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience:
- Less than 1 year of experience required.
Certifications / Licenses:
- ARRT-R Radiography Certification (ARRT-R) - Required.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) - Licensed by the State of Texas - Required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Current certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
