Shift: Monday Thursday 7:00 PM 4:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist under the general supervision of a Radiologist performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging for the diagnosis of diseases and injuries in accordance with established protocols safety standards and patient care guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI procedures in compliance with established protocols and physician orders.
Ensure patient safety comfort and privacy during all imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients properly for optimal image quality.
Operate MRI equipment and monitor scans to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient imaging records.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate imaging services.
Adhere to organizational policies safety regulations and infection control standards.
Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before and during the procedure.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience:

Less than 1 year of experience required.

Certifications/Licenses:

Basic Life Support (BLS): Required upon hire or within 30 days.
Certifications (Required):
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT(MR) or
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography ARRT(R) or
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists ARMRIT
