Job Summary/Description:
WAFF 48 is seeking a driven and strategic Multimedia Sales Manager to lead our local sales team and maximize success across our broadcast and digital advertising platforms. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives on coaching mentoring and empowering others to achieveand exceedrevenue goals. This position will play a key role in building strong client partnerships driving innovative marketing solutions and cultivating a high-performing positive sales culture.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and motivate the local sales team to achieve broadcast and digital revenue targets.
- Cultivate new business opportunities across all WAFF48 platforms.
- Develop customized client solutions utilizing a full suite of digital and television products to meet business objectives.
- Conduct regular sales calls with Multimedia Executives to support client relationships. Recruit hire train and develop Business Development/Multimedia Executives.
- Maximize sports sponsorship and advertising opportunities leveraging all WAFF 48 properties The Tennessee Valley Sports & Entertainment Network and Telemundos strong sports programming portfolioincluding NFL College Athletics Atlanta Braves Baseball Olympics and local sportsto deliver high-impact client solutions.
- Interface with operational systems such as Wide Orbit Matrix etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of digital sales experience (management experience strongly preferred).
- Proven expertise in digital advertising with the ability to clearly articulate product value to clients.
- Specific expertise in digital products and the ability to effectively explain them to customers
- Strong understanding of how television and digital products work together to drive results.
- Demonstrated success leading a sales team in a fast-paced goal-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication presentation and organizational skills.
- Flexible innovative and open to exploring new strategies for success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint
- Ability to successfully pass an MVR check.
