Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an independent witness for garnet abrasive sample testing at laboratory or site facilities.

  • Verify that testing procedures (particle size distribution chloride contamination conductivity hardness etc.) are conducted in accordance with ISO ASTM SSPC or project specifications.

  • Ensure the garnet sample meets project requirements and industry standards for surface preparation and coating application.

  • Review and confirm testing certificates calibration records and laboratory procedures.

  • Prepare and submit inspection reports test witness certificates and non-conformance reports (if any).

  • Coordinate with client representatives laboratories and contractors during testing.

  • Maintain impartiality and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and QA/QC standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • NACE Level 3 Coating Inspector Certification (mandatory).

  • Minimum 5 years experience in coating inspection and abrasive testing witness.

  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation standards (SSPC ISO 11126/11127 ASTM D series etc.).

  • Familiarity with abrasive cleanliness shape density and performance tests.

  • Good report writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to work on-call / short-duration assignments.
