Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing evaporation materials and maintaining the cleanliness of coating deposition systems shield removal and replacement of coater internally according to work instructions. Ensure that systems are properly set up and follow the manufacturing process according to the coating schedule. Ensure adherence to all ISO9002 procedures and work instructions to maintain technical standards and sustain yields.
Education & Experience
- Craftsman certificate NTC in optics or electronic or its equivalents with at least 1 years of relevant work experience in optics (functional skills)
- Possible chemical exposure; work with radioactive material (ThF4)
- Require high concentration level with high attention to details. Require to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- System clean-ups shields removal and replacement of coater internals done according to work instructions.
- Maintain inventory of ZnSe and ZnS materials for processing
Skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
Working Conditions
- This role is 100% onsite
- Rotating 12hrs Shift
- General Shop Floor working condition with clean room environment
- Required to apply NEA R1 licence
