The Optical Coating Tech II supports the manufacturing and production of advanced optical components used in aerospace and defense applications. This role is responsible for the preparation deposition and quality assurance of thin-film coatings on optical substrates following standard operating procedures with direct supervision of tasks. This position will be hired to work on 2nd shift.

Physical Requirements
The employee will frequently need to be able to lift up to 5-25lbs during routine work with or without assistance. Clean room protocols and PPE will be necessary to work in this position.
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
Quality and Environmental Responsibilities
Depending on location this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
