Position Overview:

The Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing coating processes to enhance product performance.

This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills project management experience and knowledge of automation and lean tools.

Your Role

The role of an Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer will involve:

  • Develop and implement anti-reflective coating processes for optical products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coating quality and efficiency.
  • Utilize problem-solving tools and methodologies to address production challenges.
  • Manage projects related to coating process improvements and automation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and techniques.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of coating processes and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

Your Experience

As an Anti-Reflective Coating Engineer you will have:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Production Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the optics industry with a focus on AR coatings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with automation and lean tools.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese or Spanish (preferable).
  • Proactive and able to work independently while being a supportive team player.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
