Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Bookkeeper who is able to record and maintain the assigned client s day to day financial activities. Your job duties include purchases payments receipts and sales. You will collaborate with the accounting team to analyze the financial transactions and prepare a financial report with that information. You will be responsible for posting financial activities to the accounting journals or our accounting database.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- End-to-end bookkeeping for related activities including:

- Accounts payable

- Accounts receivable

- BAS preparation

- Payroll

- Collating Organizing Uploading and Maintaining records(Income and Expenses Depreciations Preparing Profit and -- Loss Invoices Tax Records Financial Reports BAS Posting Transactions) to ensure compliance of legal requirements.

- Creating daily/weekly/monthly reports as necessitated

- They will be processing end-to-end transaction allocation and accounts management

- Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.

- Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying allocating and posting transactions.

- Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.

- Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

- Maintains historical records by filing documents.

- Prepares financial reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing account information and trends.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1 years of experience in Australian Bookkeeping

- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor s/College Degree on Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent

- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets Experience

- Exposure QuickBooks

- Fantastic written and verbal English

Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accounting Administrator, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role. Proficiency in XERO or Quickbooks is preferred. Experience with simPRO is required. Familiarity with any cloud-based job and project management software is an advantage. Strong working knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail with a strong ability to spot inconsistencies and discrepancies. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
