Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Job Description
- Process and manage accounts payable for multiple client accounts
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations to ensure financial record integrity
- Classify transactions properly in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records for tax preparation
- Support general accounting functions during peak tax season
- Collaborate with tax preparation team to ensure seamless workflow
- Handle multiple client accounts with varying complexity levels
- Ensure all financial data is current and reconciled for tax filing deadlines
- QuickBooks Online certification or strong demonstrated proficiency
- Proven experience with accounts payable processes and procedures
- Solid knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Bonus if you have experience working during tax season
- It helps if youre familiar with multiple accounting software platforms
