Job Summary
The purpose of this position to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Finance Program activities. Responsible for all areas relating to financial accounting. Develops and maintains department-specific accounting policies practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders inside and outside the County. Provides management of accounting staff. Addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of finance and accounting activities including general ledger preparation management and financial reporting year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.
Pay Rate
The annual salary range is from $108859.10 to $153981.08 depending on experience plus full benefits.

Qualifications/Education
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting finance or public administration or a closely related field and
- eight (8) years of progressively responsible governmental accounting or finance work or
- any equivalent combination of education and experience that the County deems appropriate.
