Job Description
Laboratory management company is seeking to hire a part time MD pathologist laboratory director to direct a clinical reference laboratory in Yuma AZ. Monthly remote review of required CLIA documentation is available thru Sharepoint. Compliance specialist and general supervisor review data prior to submission to lab director. Effective Jan. 1 2025 CLIA requires two on-site visits. Travel expenses will be reimbursed by management company. Management company provides malpractice insurance. Compensation paid monthly.
General duties:
- Ensure laboratory testing systems provide quality services in all aspects of test performance
- Maintains CLIA highly complex requirements
- Review and approve polices and procedures
- Oversees qualifications of laboratory personnel
- Maintains OSHA requirements
- Maintains HIPPA compliance
- Reviews and approves QC PT QA and personnel records
Education and certification requirements:
MD pathologist board certified in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology experience required by CLIA and AZ licensed.
