What youll be doing
As a member of the Enterprise AI Platforms and Solutions department youll play a pivotal role in driving the operational leadership and execution of AI enablement initiatives across CIBC. As the Senior Director AI Enablement youll lead the delivery integration and scaling of generative AI solutions ensuring operational excellence and the highest standards of governance and risk management. Youll translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans optimize processes and manage multiple concurrent projects to deliver measurable business value. Youll also foster strong stakeholder engagement and support CIBCs growth and innovation agenda.

How youll succeed
Leadership and Collaboration Lead mentor and develop a team of professionals fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Set clear objectives provide regular feedback and support professional growth and development. Collaborate with LOB leaders to identify prioritize and operationalize AI solutions tailored to their unique business requirements. Partner closely with the AI Change Management function to support the rollout adoption and enablement of CIBC AI across all employee groups.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement Oversee day-to-day operations of the AI Enablement function ensuring efficient execution of initiatives and projects. Establish monitor and report on operational KPIs to drive accountability transparency and ongoing enhancements. Oversee the operational delivery and continuous improvement of CIBC AI the enterprise GenAI productivity platform. Serve as the primary operational lead for enabling business partners to leverage CIBC AI for LOB-specific use cases.
Stakeholder Management Act as the primary operational liaison with business technology risk and vendor partners presenting progress and outcomes to executive leadership. Guide business partners in leveraging AI solutions for their unique needs ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements. Collaborate with technology and product teams to ensure the platform remains secure reliable and responsive to evolving business needs.
Ensure Compliance and Governance Ensure all operational activities comply with CIBC policies standards and regulatory requirements and support vendor assessments and procurement processes.
Business Transformation and Delivery- Oversee the delivery of LOB-specific AI projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational needs. Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven transformation within each LOB. Ensure solutions comply with enterprise governance risk and compliance standards. Define and track success metrics for AI initiatives demonstrating business value and impact. Share insights lessons learned and best practices across LOBs to accelerate adoption and maximize return on investment
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience in operational leadership within technology AI enablement or digital transformation environments.You have strong knowledge of generative AI concepts platforms and responsible AI practices including governance and risk management.You have demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex multi-project portfolios in a fast-paced matrixed organization.
You have expertise in leading mentoring and developing high-performing teams with a focus on talent management and succession planning. You have advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong partnerships across business technology and vendor groups.
You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science Data Science Engineering Business or a related field; Masters degree preferred.You can demonstrate deep understanding of enterprise governance compliance and regulatory requirements related to AI and technology solutions.
