Mail Room Clerk (Full Time Onsite)

Description
Mail Room Clerks perform basic clerical functions of opening preparing and scanning documents so they be digitally retrieved. This position will also work on data entry or other production tasks as determined by the Operations team.
Full time Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM and Friday 8:00AM-1:00PM
Location: 2860 Exchange Blvd Southlake TX 76092
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Receive and send mail daily
- Capability of identifying mortgage related document types
- Check-in documents and track documents on route to clients
- File documents according to type and client
- Generate reports as needed to send to the client with documents
- Create orders for couriers
- Assist with scanning copying and filing documents as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mailroom/working area
- Ensure compliance with SLA requirements for clients
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs independently
- Capability to safely operate office equipment and handle physical files or boxes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational abilities including follow up and follow through on instructions
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Observes safety and security procedures. Reports potentially unsafe conditions to MetaSource leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with shipping process used at US Postal Service (USPS) UPS FedEx or Pitney Bowes
- Digital imaging technology like Captiva
