Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Coordinator of Outpatient Services is responsible for carrying an outpatient caseload providing supervision support and training to assigned staff members as well as ensuring the utilization of evidenced-based practices leading outpatient groups helping to coordinate client case management helping to optimize the client experience ensuring departmental financial goals are achieved ensuring safety is accounted for ensuring compliance with departmental standards and regulations and ensuring a healthy organizational culture is fostered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Carry an outpatient client caseload up to 60% of a standard caseload but varied in size based on other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
  2. Collaborate with parents case managers school personnel and other professionals to facilitate clients treatment progress.
  3. Facilitate outpatient/parent groups as developed and model therapy concepts to other staff members.
  4. Provide supervision to assigned staff including but not limited to hiring supervision evaluation disciplinary actions and termination of employees.
  5. Assist in identifying staff training needs and coordinate with Program Director to ensure appropriate training programs are implemented.
  6. Support FFT program through assistance with case consultation and training and development of FFT staff in partnership with FFT Supervisor and Director of Summit Programs.
  7. Participate in research activities to provide for the evaluation of the programs effectiveness and consumer satisfaction.
  8. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.

OTHER DUTIES:
  1. Attend scheduled staff meetings supervision and on-going training.
  2. All required trainings certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  3. Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the clients treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  4. Assure that staff maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  5. Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education: Minimum Bachelors Degrees in Social Work or related field. Masters Degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
  2. Licensure: Valid Ohio LSW LPC MFT BCABA preferred.
  3. Competency/Skills:

  • Professional & Ethical Conduct: Adhere to professional values such as honesty personal responsibility and accountability; Applies ethical concepts within scope of work and adheres to Agency policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Function effectively as a member of a professional team that includes employees clients and family members.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Recognize problems and responds appropriately; gathers information and sorts through it to identify and address root cause issues; makes timely decisions.
  • Service Orientation: Anticipate recognize and meet the needs of others whether they are clients or not.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions.
  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrated clinical skills including expertise in systemic family therapy crisis intervention family education behavioral interventions and group work.
  • Leadership: Proven effective leadership skills to ensure departmental engagement and success.
4. Experience: Experience in working with children adolescents and their families.
: Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agencys insurance company. Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in own vehicle.
