DescriptionTofel Dent Construction is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to oversee and manage all contractual aspects of our multi-family and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in contract negotiation compliance and administration within the construction industry.
As the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for drafting reviewing and negotiating contracts with subcontractors suppliers and clients. You will ensure that contracts are executed in compliance with all company policies legal requirements and industry standards. This role requires exceptional analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft negotiate and finalize contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to support project objectives.
- Review and analyze contract terms conditions and risks providing guidance on contractual obligations and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other internal teams to ensure alignment of contract terms with operational goals.
- Monitor contract performance and manage any disputes or claims that may arise ensuring resolution in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Provide training and support to team members on contract management processes and best practices.
- Stay informed of industry trends legal regulations and changes that may affect contract management and compliance.
Requirements - Bachelors degree in construction management contract administration or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in contract management with a strong background in the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of contract law procurement and construction-related agreements.
- Strong negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience with AIA and/or ConsensusDocs contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional certifications in contract management (e.g. CPM CMC) are preferred.
