About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Childrens Home Manager to oversee two Ofsted-registered residential homes in Birmingham and Leicester supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of two childrens homes (Birmingham & Leicester).
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations.
Lead mentor and support staff teams ensuring professional growth and development.
Design and oversee individualised care plans to meet each young persons emotional and developmental needs.
Promote safeguarding practices and maintain a safe nurturing and therapeutic environment.
Monitor performance through audits incident reviews and continuous improvement measures.

Requirements

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in a senior or deputy role within a childrens residential home.
Strong background in supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviours.
In-depth knowledge of safeguarding law Ofsted standards and Childrens Homes Regulations.
Level 4 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
Enhanced DBS required.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
