The HR Advisor US is responsible for working as part of the global HR team alongside other HR Advisors You will provide support to Abcam associates throughout their entire employee journey as well as contributing to evolving HR policy and supporting in the delivery of ad hoc employee relations related projects.

This position reports to the Director of Employee Relationship & HR Policy and is part of the Human Resources Team located in Waltham MA and will be an on-site role. At Abcam our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Act as a reference point and a supportive and consistent contact for associates throughout their whole journey within Abcam
  • Provide specialist advice to managers and employees on all employee relations issues managing associated case work and supporting the delivery of ER related projects across the US sites.
  • Conduct induction onboarding regular check-ins and exit interviews to inform and improve the associate experience and engagement
  • Regularly review update and improve Abcam HR policies
  • Provide support to the HRBPs and HRDs as required and work in collaboration with the global HR operations team

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BA or BSc Degree and 5 years of HR experience with 2 years of ER case work
  • Knowledge of US HR policies procedures and best practice together with the ability to work with associates at all levels
  • Previous experience in an HR role and understanding of the value and impact of good ER policy and practice
  • Ability to work with functional groups and different levels of employees to achieve results ethically effectively and professionally
  • Ability to advise on local cultural business norms and behavior

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to Eugene OR on at least a quarterly basis and other ad-hoc travel as required

The salary range for this role is $100000-$120000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus commission benefits or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Companys sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Companys sole discretion consistent with the law.
