Learn more at The Associate Director Market Research Immunology GI is responsible for the integration and execution of market research to generate new business insights and uncover growth opportunities for the Gastroenterology franchise as part of the Immunology business unit. This position will serve as an internal consultant to marketing and sales and commercial partners supporting delivering actionable recommendations shaping decision-making and driving organizational action. The position plays a key role in advising the commercial team in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result shares accountability for business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing market research approaches that generate actionable insights to inform brand strategic choices and tactical execution
- Participate in the execution of primary research. Market research areas of focus may include professional patient or payer research including developmental evaluative and exploratory research.
- Leverage disparate data sources (including various types of national subnational sales data payer data field activity and marketing program or resource utilization) to address key business questions and uncover business opportunities
- Demonstrate strong project management and consulting skills including active listening problem definition hypothesis generation data analysis translation to value and crafting a presentation for impact.
- Identify actionable recommendations to improve future performance outcomes.
- Integrate market research and analytical insights to build a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics and unmet needs to shape and refine business strategies.
- Develop new insights leading to business building recommendations while effectively communicating them thereby shaping business partners understanding and to benefit decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market research findings and analytics insights into business strategies and initiatives.
- Drive focus and innovation through the design and execution of market research projects and the integration of insights enabling organizational decision making and action.
- Champion the development and implementation of research and analytical approaches that are innovative drive efficiencies and contribute to broader advancement of methodologies.
- Demonstrate leadership courage in order to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects.
- Drive a culture of simplicity within the Strategic Insights & Analytics function to ensure business processes are streamlined and partners are provided on-demand actionable insights.
- Take personal accountability for making Credo-based decisions and fostering a Credo-based culture.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree desirable
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience in market research or related experience
- Proven success partnering across the commercial organization to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience shaping and influencing organizational decision-making
- Strength in storytelling data visualization and developing effective presentations
- Knowledge across a broad spectrum of market research and analytical approaches and ability to identify the appropriate approach to address key business questions
- Strong learning agility and demonstrated success solving ambiguous business issues
Preferred:
- Prior experience in the immunology and/or Gastroenterology category
- Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations that shape strategy and execution for launch brands
- Fluency in Tableau or PowerBI to work with large datasets
Other:
- This position is based in Horsham PA on a hybrid in-office schedule and will require up to 10% domestic travel
