SHORT DESCRIPTION:

Senior Scrum Master for a large non governance organization in Hong Kong

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate Agile Processes - Guide and coach multiple cross-functional teams using the Scrum framework facilitating all necessary events like daily scrums sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.

  • Mentorship and Coaching - Mentor junior Scrum Masters and coach team members to foster self-organization cross-functionality and a high-performing team environment.

  • Impediment Removal - Proactively identify and resolve impediments or blockers that hinder the teams progress and productivity.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Serve as a liaison between development teams Product Owners and other stakeholders ensuring clear communication and effective backlog management.

  • Promote Agile Principles - Champion Agile values and principles within the team and organization driving transparency collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Track key performance indicators and project metrics reporting on progress and identifying areas for optimization to stakeholders.

  • Leadership by Example - Lead by example demonstrating strong communication problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field preferred.

  • Agile coach or Senior Scrum Certification.

  • Completed 2 Agile projects and served as Scrum master.

  • 8 years of IT project management experience.

  • Able to lead conversations in English.

  • Native in Cantonese or Mandarin.
