Job Description

Description

The People & Culture Specialist will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle ensuring accurate HR operations compliance with legal requirements and the successful execution of engagement initiatives. This role serves as a bridge between employees and the organization promoting a positive culture and delivering a consistent and high-quality employee experience.

Key Responsabilites

  • Plan and organize HR calendars meetings and agendas to ensure timely execution of HR and P&C initiatives.
  • Update HRIS with new hires exits vacations sick leaves and other employee movements.
  • Manage HRIS tickets (vacation requests medical leaves employment certificates letters).
  • Validate and manage medical and legal documents in HRIS.
  • Maintain employee files up to date and audit new hire folders (legal docs HRIS registration social security affiliation).
  • Coordinate employee affiliations and withdrawals (health pension severance ARL).
  • Prepare and deliver employment certificates and requested HR letters.
  • Coordinate pre-employment and exit medical exams with SST providers.
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives including monthly birthday celebrations and annual events (Womens Day Fathers/Mothers Day Friendship Day Halloween Christmas Party Year-End Celebration).
  • Support logistics for engagement activities team-building sessions and rewards & recognition (R&R) programs.
  • Liaise with suppliers (catering decoration logistics) for events and engagement activities.
  • Distribute and consolidate employee surveys (onboarding engagement exit) and support insights for HR initiatives.
  • Manage inventory of welcome kits uniforms and employee supplies ensuring timely delivery to new hires.



Requirements
  • Previous Experience in Human Resources or related fields
  • Experience managing HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with Colombian labor law & social security affiliation processes (health pension ARL severance) and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating employee events engagement activities or corporate communications is a plus.
