Contract Dates: 19January 2026 to 19 January 2029
Employment Type: Full TimeFixed term
Salary Range:Graduate $86600- Proficient 4 $107988 FTE gross per annum plus applicable Middle Leader Tier 3 allowance $19535 gross per annum FTE
OR
Proficient 5 and above: $144259 FTE gross per annum

About the Role
The role of the Head of Department is to support the mission of the school through leadership of the learning and teaching program. This involves implementing appropriate curriculum in line with national state and local requirements; ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels; monitoring the quality of student learning and the effectiveness of teacher practice through appropriate supervision; utilising thorough analysis of current data to inform decisions; developing appropriate partnerships within and outside of the school; and prudently administering available resources.

- Be registered or eligible to be register with Queensland College of Teachers
- Professional qualifications in Education
