We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cyber Operations Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing secure infrastructure automating deployments and supporting operational resilience across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Linux networking automation and cloud services while also demonstrating a passion for learning and staying ahead in the evolving world of cyber and DevOps operations.
Securely manage and troubleshoot systems by accessing remote instances via SSH.
Configure maintain and automate systems using Ansible and related tools.
Support AWS infrastructure and deployments ensuring compliance and security best practices.
Build monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools.
Perform code versioning and collaboration using Git (CLI).
Implement and support deployment strategies (blue/green canary).
Administer and harden Linux systems to support secure operations.
Apply networking concepts (subnets ACLs firewalls etc.) to system design and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with security development and operations teams to improve workflows and strengthen cyber resilience.
Linux: Intermediate-level knowledge with hands-on experience in administration and troubleshooting.
Cloud: AWS experience required; AWS certification strongly preferred.
Automation/Configuration Management: Proficiency with Ansible.
Version Control: Intermediate Git skills (CLI workflow experience).
DevOps & Security Operations: Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies (blue/green canary).
Networking: Basic to intermediate understanding of subnets ACLs and network security configuration.
Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills eagerness to learn and genuine enthusiasm for technology and cyber operations.
AWS Certified (Solutions Architect SysOps Administrator or Developer).
Background in secure operations monitoring or infrastructure hardening.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enjoys staying current with emerging cybersecurity DevOps and cloud trends.
