We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join the IT Ops & Cloud team within the IT Ops & Security department.

This role will focus on implementing and managing Security and DevOps practices to streamline IT operations and software development fostering collaboration and automation.

What will you be doing

Solid understanding of security concepts including threat modeling risk assessment and vulnerability management.

Experience with integrating security best practices at every stage of the SDLC.

Manage and monitor the organisations infrastructure including provisioning scaling and maintaining bare metal servers virtual machines and cloud resources in MS Azure.

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Ansible Terraform or similar

Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build test and deployment processes.

Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure applications and deployments.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of Security & DevOps practices and toolchains.

Stay current with the latest DevSecOps /Devops technologies and trends.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience (3 years for Regular / 5 years for Senior) as a DevSecOps/DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

Experience in DevSecOps & DevOps principles and practices.

Experience in MS Azure cloud platform and services.

Experience with containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).

Experience with IaC tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI Jenkins Azure DevOps).

Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana and Datadog).

Experience with scripting languages (Python Bash and PowerShell).

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

Relevant certifications such as:

ITIL v4 Foundation or higher

Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or higher

Azure DevOps Engineer or higher

Experience with SQL Server and MySQL databases administration.

Proficiency in information security principles cybersecurity best practices and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST Cybersecurity Framework CIS Top Critical Security Controls).
