Job Description
- Ideate and implement strategic improvements for production quality and labour utilization throughout the facility
- Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment
- Collaborate with functional departments in the implementation of improvements
- Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality
- Apply lean manufacturing principles in designing specifying and validating world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in operations management business engineering or related field
- Min 10 years manufacturing/production experience
- Proven skills in leadership and supervision
- Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Needs strong problem-solving skills
- Results and performance driven a must with a fine eye for attention to detail
- Blow moulding Injection moulding experience/knowledge
- Data analysis skills
- Able to have tough conversations and address conflict
