Job Description

Work Flexibility: Field-based

What You Will Do

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Mako Product this role the individual will serve as a MAKO clinical expert and provide product clinical support and guidance to customers. The individual will also be responsible for training and developing Stryker customers and employees to support MAKO business growth and market penetration. Additionally the individual will launch new accounts in Santiago Chile using proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the companys Robotic Arm assisting surgeons in preoperative robotic procedure surgical planning.

  • Serve as a MAKO clinical expert and provide product clinical support and guidance to customers.

  • Train and develop Stryker customers and employees to support MAKO business growth and market penetration.

  • Launch new accounts in Santiago Chile.

  • Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the companys Robotic Arm assisting surgeons in preoperative robotic procedure surgical planning.

  • Actively sell the clinical benefits of the products and build strong positive relationships with key surgeons and Theatre staff at Stryker accounts.

  • Support the development and delivery of training and education programs for Stryker employees and regional customers on MAKO products.

  • Collaborate with regional training teams in communications and negotiations with government and professional bodies to ensure the accreditation of courses as needed.

  • Assist in surgeries and serve as a point of support for the surgeon being responsible for positioning and preparing the equipment for use during surgery.

What you need:

Required:

  • Technical Degree and/or bachelors degree in biomedical engineering Surgical Instrumentalist or other Healthcare related areas.

  • Advanced English Level.

  • Previous experience in the hospital and surgical environment.

  • Highly experienced in clinical and surgical support comfortable in Operating Room environment and guidance of surgeons and clinical staff.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working with robotic surgery is a plus. Knowledge of orthopedics and/or aspects related to the musculoskeletal system is desirable.

  • Able to develop and deliver training and education programs.

Travel Percentage: 20%
