- Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics.
- You will manage cross-functional teams to execute data platform pipeline and analytics initiatives ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
- Key Responsibilities: Plan execute and deliver technical projects on time within scope and within budget.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines ETL/ELT and analytics workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering product QA and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS GCP Azure Snowflake Databricks).
- Develop detailed project plans schedules resource allocations and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives and other Agile ceremonies.
- Track project progress using tools like Jira Confluence and report status to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.
- Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage third-party vendors or external contractors when applicable.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in processes tools and team efficiency.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field. 8 years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile Scrum Kanban or Waterfall). Proficient with project management tools (e.g. Jira Asana Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
