Procedural Sales Specialist

As a Procedural OR Product Sales Specialist at STERIS you will gain the knowledge skills and experience to jumpstart a limitless career. Your primary responsibilities include driving sales of the Procedural OR product line to new and existing customers both virtually and sometimes in-person. Your goal is to meet or exceed individual and team sales objectives and annual sales quotas.

This territory covers Illinios Wisconsin Northwest Indiana and Michigan.

What will you do as an Procedural Sales Specialist

Responsible for selling surgical devices and procedural products to the acute and non-acute marketplace within the specified region.
Solicit orders aggressively from present and prospective customers utilizing the entire V. Mueller product portfolio.
Involved in the sale of clinically differentiated solutions to include surgical instruments Genesis containers related products and/or disposables.
Meet and/or exceed sales expectations and increase total company market share in assigned territory.
Collaboration with other BD/Steris sales consultants when and where applicable.
Seek new customers aggressively and formulate follow up plans for such action as directed by the Regional Business Manager.
Develop business plan to be updated quarterly on account activities programs and targets.
Satisfy customer complaints in accordance with BD policies and advise Regional Business Manager promptly of any situation beyond scope of authority.
Stay attentive to competitors products and merchandizing practices and keep the Regional Business Manager informed concerning them.
Maintain up-to-date customer account profiles
Prepare and submit call reports as required by Regional Business Manager.
Attend and participates in sales meetings training programs conventions and trade shows as directed.

The Experience Skills and Abilities Needed

Required

Bachelors degree required
Min 7 years related sales experience (Healthcare sales preferred)
Acute/Non-Acute care and/or Operating Room selling experience preferred
Strong planning negotiation and presentation skills
Proven industry product knowledge preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Pay range for this opportunity is $95000 - $110000. This position is incentive plan eligible at target earnings of $175000 - $190000 depending on performance.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors including but not limited to local labor market costs years of relevant experience education professional certifications foreign language fluency etc.
