Xylem is looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to report to our Richmond VA facility and service our customers in the surrounding areas.
What your day will look like as a Field Service Technician:
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation service and maintenance of our water purification equipment utilizing a company service vehicle within our Light Industries Division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.
This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Job Requirements for Field Service Technicians:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- One year of work experience preferred
- 2-4 years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
- Experience with Microsoft office including the ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- A valid drivers license with a clean driving record
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more daily travel
