About the Role
In this fast-paced and high-impact role youll be at the forefront of media engagementcrafting compelling stories building strong relationships with journalists and enhancing the public profile of one of the largest and most significant departments in government. Youll work closely with subject matter experts and senior leaders to develop accurate timely and engaging media materials that align with government policy and help elevate the DCCEEW and NSW Government brand.
About You
To thrive in this role youll bring a strong mix of strategic thinking media expertise and stakeholder engagement skills. Youll be confident operating in a fast-paced high-pressure environment and adept at navigating complex and sensitive issues with professionalism and tact.

DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
