Job Description
Title: Interim Chief Financial Officer
Location: Long Island NY (4 days on-site)
Hourly Rate: Market Rate
Job Type: Interim (3 months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team to identify and resolve ERP issues ensuring accurate financial reporting at both the legal entity and consolidated levels.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial trends variances and budget comparisons to support informed decision-making.
- Lead efforts to correct and optimize the current ERP system implementation leveraging expertise in major system implementations and cleanups.
- Manage and oversee cost accounting processes with a strong emphasis on percentage of completion revenue recognition.
- Utilize strong project management skills to guide the team through a cleanup effort.
- Support parallel efforts for permanent CFO placement ensuring seamless transition and continuity.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to maintain focus on strategic objectives while managing detailed tasks.
- Extensive experience in cost accounting and percentage of completion methodologies.
- Familiarity with Intacct and BuildOps is beneficial though major system implementation experience is essential.
- Previous experience in a Private Equity environment is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in-office in Long Island NY 4 days a week.
