Job Description

Dematic has an immediate need for a Contract Manager to support the continual growth of Dematics Canadian project business. This position is responsible for partnering closely with the Project Management team to support risk mitigation for the business and ensure contractual rights when vital. The person in this position will perform duties such as analyzing interpreting and explaining contract concepts reviewing/editing contract change orders and working with the project team to realize all possible opportunities to mitigate overspending by using claims appropriately.

Strong interpersonal skills problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mentality to partner with technical internal departments- including both Project Management and the Legal team- is vital for success. The ideal candidate will use their interpersonal skills to serve as an advisor and subject matter expert on multiple simultaneous projects within a corporate setting. This position involves some travel (20% or less) the majority of which will be to project installation sites in Canada although some travel may be international (to the US and Germany).
