Job Description
Foreground is partnering with a leading oilfield services provider in Oman to appoint a Health & Safety Manager who will oversee safety protocols across drilling and field operations. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations developing safety programs and fostering a strong safety culture in high-risk environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE management systems aligned with international standards.
- Conduct risk assessments hazard analysis and emergency response planning.
- Lead safety training programs across drilling and operational teams.
- Monitor compliance with Omani and international HSE regulations.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Safety Engineering or related discipline; NEBOSH/IOSH certifications required.
- 10 years of HSE management in oilfield services or drilling.
- Strong leadership in high-risk environments.
- Knowledge of ISO and OHSAS standards.
- Excellent English skills; Arabic an advantage.
