The Data Insights Analyst will be responsible for extracting analyzing and interpreting large sets of data to provide actionable insights that drive business strategy and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical statistical and communication skills to effectively translate complex data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect clean and analyze large and complex data sets from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain dashboards reports and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends.
Identify patterns correlations and opportunities to improve business processes and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business product marketing and IT) to understand data needs and provide relevant insights.
Use statistical techniques machine learning models and predictive analytics to solve business problems.
Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Ensure data integrity accuracy and consistency throughout the analytics process.
Stay current with best practices tools and trends in analytics and data visualization.
Document methodologies assumptions and data sources for transparency and repeatability.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Business Analytics or a related field.
2 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or a similar role.
Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. SQL Python R Tableau Power BI).
Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with large complex data sets and multiple data sources.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data insights for non-technical audiences.
High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or distributed team.
Hourly Pay Rate:
$35 - $55 per hour (commensurate with experience education and technical expertise).
