We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Analyst to join our team remotely. The Planning Analyst will be responsible for gathering analyzing and interpreting data to support strategic and operational planning across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills experience with planning tools and the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect analyze and interpret financial operational and market data to support business planning and decision-making.
Develop forecasts models and reports to evaluate business performance and identify trends risks and opportunities.
Support the preparation and maintenance of annual and long-term business plans budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance operations marketing etc.) to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Prepare presentations dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against organizational goals.
Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in the implementation of best practices.
Stay current with industry trends market conditions and emerging analytical tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Data Science or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
2 years of relevant experience in business analysis planning or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
Experience with enterprise planning software (e.g. SAP Oracle Anaplan) is preferred.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Hourly Pay Rate:
$40 - $65 per hour (based on experience education and technical proficiency).
