Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to join our data and analytics team. The Statistical Analyst will be responsible for designing and conducting statistical analyses to provide actionable insights for business decision-making. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in statistics data modeling and proficiency with analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect clean and analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data from various sources.

Design implement and interpret advanced statistical analyses to support business objectives.

Develop predictive models and perform hypothesis testing.

Prepare and present technical reports summaries and visualizations of analytical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborate with data scientists business analysts and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

Ensure data integrity and validity throughout the analysis process.

Stay current with best practices industry trends and emerging statistical methodologies.

Assist with the development and automation of data collection and analysis processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics Mathematics Economics Data Science or a related field.

2 years of demonstrated experience in statistical analysis or a similar analytical role.

Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g. R Python SAS SPSS).

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).

Strong understanding of statistical methods experimental design and predictive modeling.

Excellent problem-solving critical thinking and organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a remote or distributed team.

Hourly Pay Rate:

$40 - $65 per hour (commensurate with experience education and technical skills).
