We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reporting and Metrics Analyst to join our team. The Reporting and Metrics Analyst will be responsible for designing generating and analyzing reports and metrics to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong technical analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and optimize regular and ad hoc reports dashboards and metrics to track business performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure reporting solutions align with organizational objectives.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends variances and opportunities for process improvement.
Ensure accuracy consistency and timeliness in all reporting deliverables.
Use data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) to create clear and actionable reports.
Automate data collection transformation and reporting processes where possible.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to management and business stakeholders.
Maintain documentation of reporting processes definitions and data sources.
Stay current with best practices tools and techniques in reporting analytics and data visualization.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Statistics Information Systems Data Science or a related field.
2 years of experience in reporting data analysis metrics development or a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Excel).
Strong analytical problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote or distributed team environment.
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g. Python R) is a plus.
Hourly Pay Rate:
$35 - $55 per hour (commensurate with experience education and technical expertise).
