We are looking for aProject Officer. The role will focus on conceptualizing managing and executing research projects conducted to contribute towards ICC Offices goals of promoting interdisciplinary and collaborative learning in all NTU students. He/she will work closely with the Office and the teaching staff to conceptualize new research projects as well as work on current projects/data for promoting and measuring interdisciplinary and collaborative learning amongst students.
Key Responsibilities:
Design research approaches to measure interdisciplinary and collaborative learning and its impact on students
Collect analyse report and/or present ICC-related data for the office or university (e.g. pre and post course surveys student feedback on teaching student experience survey etc.) for monitoring insights and decision making purposes as well as to address clarifications from different stakeholders
Propose improvements to existing research/survey designs materials and reports
Propose new research/surveys to promote interdisciplinary and collaborative learning
Lead and conduct data collection activities related to research projects
Take charge of research project budgeting and expenditure
Design surveys using graphical-user interfaced software (e.g. Qualtrics Google forms) including Microsoft Office suite
Present research findings implications and suggestions and follow up on required actions and plans with various stakeholders
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in psychology educational research or related fields.
At least one year of relevant experience in psychological or education related fields as a Research Assistant or completed an Honours/Final Year project.
Knowledge and experience in social science research methodologies able to manage and organize participants for research studies and experiments
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in graphical-user interfaced software (e.g. Qualtrics Verint Google forms Microsoft Office suite) and online search tools especially online databases (e.g. EBSCOhost Psycinfo etc.)
Ability to work independently develop solutions under strict timelines meticulous excellent organizational and time management skills
