Leidos Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Production Technician to join our team at our Colorado Springs CO location. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in programming setup and operation of a variety of machine tools including Water Jet Blankets and Bonding.

Primary Responsibilities
Must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models.
Experience in setting up and operating various machine tools including water jets blankets and bonding equipment.
Proven experience in manufacturing significant aerospace components using exotic materials.
Applicants must be able to work on diverse projects in a fast-paced ever-changing R&D environment with minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma o/GED with at least 2 years of experience in precision machining experience specifically in operating Water Jet and Sawing machinery.
Applicants must be physically capable of lifting at least 35 pounds without assistance.
Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed.
The role requires full-time availability with a schedule of four days per week consisting of 10-hour shifts on the first shift.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing complex aerospace components from exotic materials such as bonding and blanket material.
Comprehensive understanding of all established production protocols and must follow them carefully. This attention to detail ensures that each step of the process is executed with precision contributing to overall efficiency and quality in production.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46800.00 - $84600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
