South Central Transit is now accepting applications for a Full-Time BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN at the Centralia facility.
Are you skilled with your hands and enjoy keeping facilities in top shape South Central Transit is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to join our team!
What Youll Do:
Inspect repair and maintain equipment and building systems (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.).
Perform routine facility upkeep and outdoor maintenance including landscaping and mowing.
Handle general cleaning tasks and supply orders.
Conduct monthly building inspections and maintain door locks and codes.
Assist with transporting tools and equipment between facilities.
What Were Looking For:
Knowledge and experience in electrical plumbing carpentry HVAC and lawn care.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically active tasks (bending climbing kneeling).
Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or GED required; prior maintenance experience preferred.
